How to Create LED Plant Light on Your Own
LED Plant Light is commonly in service to promote plant growth. LED stands for Light-emitting diode. Plants use various wavelengths of light for promoting the development of vegetables and flowers. You can make your own, LED plant bulb. All you need are routine things like radio shack perforated board, commercially available LEDs, commonly found electrical-electronics components, batteries, small transformers. In no time, you can muster all these to create a working LED grow bulb that may cost below 50 dollars.
The first thing is to do research as per your requirements. Once you know that, you can create a specification sheet. Certain things you need to remember here are the power requirements, light frequencies and proportions. These will help you in choosing the correct power circuit board, LEDs, batteries and transformers.
The work typically involves minute details of information about key electronic settings. You need to take care specially of the safety issues while putting different components on the circuit board. However, you can use the benefit of already available designs that are available on the Internet or other sources.
Choosing several different colors you can reproduce the sunlight. In order to create such light, you would need materials like indoor plants, electrical sockets, and electrical outlet with timer and LED growth lamps.
You must make a little research about how much light you are going to have on your plants. After figuring this out, you can choose the watt and color of this light. Then you have to set the term on your electrical outlet timer. Most plants respond on red and blue lights. Researches show that the perfect ratio for <A href=”http://www.advancedledlights.com”>Led plant light</A> is 80 percent of red light and 20 percent of blue.
The size of the plant decides how far you would hang these lights above them. Their position would be close as 5 inches and as far away as 20 inches. Conclusively, they aim at getting the right amount of light. The greens need to bathe entirely in light. However, the light should never spill over. With the change in shape of plants, you have to adjust the intensity of the lights.
The reflectors are implicit into the light. Therefore, it requires no secondary reflector. These energy efficient bulbs are long lasting and do not require ballast.
